Don't read, it might make you mad

A very interesting, and if you read the comments, provocative article.

I don't know about anybody else, but that article didn't make me mad, it made me paranoid... I mean, seriously, is this guy hiding out in my closet or what? lol. Good article.

I am reading a book about finding your strengths and focusing on them. I think a priority of any church staff or group in general should be to know each others' strengths. I know my husband is not good at the details, so instead of blaming him for not getting it, I need to realize he's just not good at that. Likewise, he excels when it comes to people... I don't. I'd rather hide in a closet or behind my task but he's great at talking to people, about finding out who they are and what they like.

The thing I didn't like about the article was the focus on his weaknesses. We need to start focusing on what we do well and not necessarily give up on the rest, but just take responsibility like he said when we do mess up. People excel when you focus on who they are not on who they aren't... why should it be any different in a church staff or any group environment.
