There's hope for me yet

Here's a great article on introverts. I say it's great because I'm an introvert and it gives me hope. I saw myself pop up in various places in the article. Very interesting.

That's interesting... and makes sense... I can see where the two types really need each other to be an effective leadership team. One can pick up where the other leaves off.

I never really did understand like the Myers-Briggs stuff... I seem to have characteristics of both and score differently on different days!

Are you an INTJ? Just curious. I'm an INFP most often.

So when you're being a "people person" are you acting or being brave?

I know. Questions, questions... I have a sick kid home today and am bored out of my skull.

Honestly, being around people drains me... and I could say that it's part acting and part being brave. I've taken the Myers-Briggs, but don't remember what I came out as. All I know is that I need to recharge by being alone after I've been with people. Sundays are very, very draining for me. but at the same time if I were to hole up in a shell then I'd be squandering and wasting the time God has given me. I thought the article was really good. I practice my sermons out loud 6-7 times before I do them. I am slow to respond most of the time... not because I'm slow, but because I need to think about the right response.

sorry your bored. Hope the "kid" gets well soon.
